Dermacode was founded by Dr. Rahul Pillai, an internationally renowned aesthetic dermatologist with board certifications from the UK, USA, Russia, India and the UAE, with over two decades of global experience. His vision was to bring a world-class aesthetic facility to Kochi, where science-led skincare meets refined clinical care. Designed for those who value excellence and discretion, Dermacode combines precision and evidence-based skincare with highly personalised treatment planning. Dr. Rahul Pillai is the Founder and Medical Director of Dermacode, with over two decades of experience spanning dermatology, aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology, dermato-surgery and laser aesthetics. A Gold Medalist in MD Dermatology from the prestigious Pondicherry University, he holds multiple international degrees and certifications, including MRCPS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK; FAAD, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, USA; MD in General Medicine from The First Moscow State Medical University, I.M. Sechenov, Russia and MD Physician from India.

Dr. Pillai is board certified in dermatology in the USA, UK, Russia, India and the UAE. He serves as a Director Board Member of the Dermatology, Aesthetics and Surgery International League (DASIL) and was the Coordinator for the Special Interest Group on Lasers within the Indian Association of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. He is also the current Chairman of the Practice Management Cell, Indian Association of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Kerala State; President of the Thrissur Dermatology Society and a Member of the IADVL Kerala State Council. Recognised globally for his expertise, Dr. Pillai has delivered over 252 international lectures worldwide and has authored 26 scientific publications to date. He was featured in Forbes “Pride of India” edition as one of the nation’s most distinguished personalities in the 75th year of Independence edition.
