Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan on 30th September 2017. Since it is the first Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church in the African Continent, the consecration had made a remarkable point in the history of the Church. This consecration was followed by a public meeting in which Most Rev.Z.D. Siwa, President of South African Council of Churches and clergies from other Churches participated. There are about 120 families there in the Parish.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday the first Holy Communion was\u00a0celebrated by Metropolitan Thirumeni followed by the <em>Koodhasa<\/em> of the new Parsonage. Rev.
