The valedictory function of the 175th Anniversary for Reformation in the Malankara Church was celebrated at the Mar Thoma Headquarters, Thiruvalla.
An ecumenical dinner was organised by the Metropolitan on 19th August 2011 at 7 pm. which was attended by the Bishops of the sister Churches in Kerala. WCC General Secretary, Rev Dr Olav Fkyse Tveit and his wife, CCA Secretary, Rev Dr Henriette Hutabarat Lebang, Bishop Hans Gerny, Rev Ioan Livius Jebelean(Switzerland) and dr Mathew Geaorge Chunakkara, Director, International Affairs, WCC were the special guests at the Ecumenical dinner.
The valedictory meeting began at 2:30 pm on 20th August 2011 with prayer by Rt Rev Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa and Very Rev K S Mathew welcomed the august gathering. His Grace the Metropolitan gave the Presidential Speech. Dr Mathews george Chunakkara invited the Chief Guest Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, General Secretary.

The meeting ended with prayer by Rt Rev Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa and benedication by His Grace The Metropolitan.
