82nd Birthday Celebration of His Grace Mar Thoma Metropolitan
His Grace Administered the Holy communion in the presence of Most Rev Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom Valiya Metropolitan, Rt Rev Dr Zacharias Mar Theophilus Suffragan Maetropolitan, Rt Rev Geevarghese Mar Athanasius, Rt Rev Dr Euyakim Mar Coorilos, Rt Rev Dr Isaac Mar Philoxenos, Rt Rev Jospeh Mar Barnabas, Rt Rev Dr Abraham Mar Paulos, Rt Rev Dr Mathews Mar Makarios and Rt Rev Gregorios Mar Stephanos.
Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom Vailya Metropolitan prayed for His Grace and Blessed him on His Birthday. His Grace The Metropolitan adminstered the Holy communion to all the communicants during the worship.
A special felictation meeting was organised by the Sabha immediately after the worship. The meeting was attended by the Clergy Trustee, Rev V T John, Lay Trustee, Adv Varghese Mammen, Vicar Generals of the Church, Clergy and well wishers of His Grace The Metropolitan.
A documentary film prepared by Rev Abraham Varghese was shown during the meeting which stressed on the acknowledging presence of His Grace The Metropolitan towards the people in need and the importance of theSnehakaram Project.(for more details contact edp@marthoma.in)
Rev P T Thomas, Sabha Secretary, welcomed the bishops, achen and the Church members to the meeting and delgated their birthday wishes to Thirumeni.
Rt Rev Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa felicitated His Grace with Birthday Greetings on behalf of all the Bishops.
Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Powathil gave a felicitation address wishing His Grace on His 82nd Birthday.
His Grace The Metropolitan cut the Birthday and shared the same with all the members present for the meeting.
Rev Varghese Philip, Vicar, St Thomas Mar Thoma Church, SCS Thiruvalla gave the vote of Thanks to all the bishops and the members of the Mar Thoma Church and well wishers who attended the felicitation.
